Stainless steel hot-rolled coil strip, with excellent properties formed by high-temperature rolling process, combines toughness and processability, and is widely used in construction, industrial manufacturing and other fields. It has become an important raw material in basic industrial production, and the optimization of its production process continuously improves product adaptability.
The production of stainless steel hot-rolled coil strip takes stainless steel billet as raw material, and the core process is high-temperature rolling. The rolling temperature is controlled between 900℃ and 1200℃, which is higher than the recrystallization temperature of stainless steel. The thickness reduction and shape forming of the billet are realized through multiple passes of rolling, and the finished product is completed through subsequent processes such as laminar cooling and coiling. During the production process, the high-temperature environment can break the dendritic grain structure of the steel billet, form uniform recrystallized grains, improve the toughness and ductility of the product, and reduce the strain hardening phenomenon during processing.
The product surface is usually covered with a brownish-black oxide layer, which can be treated by shot blasting, pickling and other methods to obtain a cleaner surface, adapting to different scenario requirements. Its core characteristics include high mechanical strength, excellent toughness and flexible specifications. It can be customized in width and thickness according to needs, with moderate production cost, suitable for large-scale production. The application scenarios include roofs and enclosure structures in the construction field, mechanical parts and pipeline manufacturing in the industrial field, and basic raw materials in the home appliance, automobile and other industries. It can also be used as the pre billet of stainless steel cold-rolled products to support subsequent deep processing. With the advancement of the industry's green transformation, the hot rolling process is constantly optimized, which not only improves production efficiency, but also reduces energy consumption and pollutant emissions, further expanding its application scope.
